5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent winter pantReviewed by Anonymous from Stamford, CT on Saturday, January 23, 2016These pants were just what I was looking for. I don't ski, but I do walk, hike and snowshoe so I was looking for something like a normal pant but warm and waterproof for winter weather. I walked for three hours in a snowstorm wearing them and they were terrific and so comfortable that, once inside, I stayed in them for hours after.
I'm 6'-2", 175lbs. My normal pant size is 33 waist/34 length. I first ordered the 48 based on size chart but they were so tight I couldn't get my hands in the pockets. They were returned for the size 50, which are perfect if a tiny bit short on me. Very pleased with the purchase. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great pants, be careful with sizing...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Massachusetts on Sunday, November 29, 2015Wonderful to get some pants with longer legs, be careful with sizing, the mediums were 33" (inside label) rather than 34"-36", so a bit snug, but stretchy, so I will keep them anyway.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great PantsReviewed by Logan from Indiana on Saturday, November 21, 2015I wore these out in the snow for the first time today and they worked great. The lining on the inside is light but warm enough for the 30 degree weather I was in. Any colder and you might need a baselayer. The lower leg has a nylon lining that works great with boots and wetness you collect from walking. The outside material is similar to other DWR type pants (not quite a softshell) but it repels wetness well and there seems to be a lining under neath that keeps you totally dry. As far as repelling wind, it was pretty good but not great. They did breathe well though. They are definitely not as wind repellent as goretex. These pants do stretch in the right places when needed but are loose enough and not tight. They have a regular fit and the size is as described. I do lift weights and they are a little snug in the upper legs and seat for me.
I would say that these pants are ideal for cold outdoor activities. They might not be warm enough if you are going from point A to point B in your day to day travels. If you get warmed up and going outside, they are perfect. I don't think the original list price is worth it. But at the STP price, they are worth the money. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. High quality pantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by muy blastido from Oregoonia on Thursday, January 29, 2015Great 3 season pants + cooler summer climes. Outer lay will retain moisture but mid Texapore layer is waterproof. Very supple when laundered.
Follow sizing. Sizes listed are correct, get normal size.
