5.0 out of 5 stars. Love it!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Wednesday, January 20, 2016Great fit, great quality and material. Happened to arrive right before a cold front hits NYC and the windproof feature of this jacket was tested and passed!

3.0 out of 5 stars. good not greatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Clinton, MA on Thursday, December 24, 2015Functionally does everything as advertised although I'd like to see how the waterproof membrane is holding up after a year of use and a few washings. If you are used to buying this type of outerwear from the big name retailers you will wonder about the total absence of styling, it is willfully bland, blue on the outside, golden yellow in the lining. Also it is designed for someone tall and fit, I'm 5-4 and 185 lbs, the size Large zips snug on me but the sleeves are long; the Medium would not have fit at all, although Medium is what I usually take in any garment that doesn't shrink. However, functionally it is doing what it says, water doesn't just bead on the outer shell, it rolls off.

3.0 out of 5 stars. rain jackket?Verified Buyer Reviewed by arturo from North Carolina on Tuesday, December 15, 2015I bought it as a rain jacket and have yet to test it because we have been in the 60s & 70s all month. It is too bulky but the price is right at 55.00 so will keep and wear if we ever get cold again. I guess miscalculated re climate change here in the mts of N.C.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Versatile jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Randolph, Pilot from Colorado on Tuesday, October 13, 2015Good quality, nice fit. Yes, the arm fit is long but adjusted by the velcro wrist straps. This jacket is as stated; for chilly mornings.....not winter insulation. A jacket to layer over clothing for the changing temperatures throughout the day. Walking, hiking....outdoor activities.

4.0 out of 5 stars. No frills, functional jacket.Verified Buyer Reviewed by RR from Colorado on Tuesday, September 22, 2015Seems solidly built, and I like the more substantial zipper than on many jackets. (The reason I got this was because the lightweight zippers on two of my other jackets recently broke.) This jacket is too heavy and bulky for most backpacking uses, but seems great for around town wear and downhill skiing. The fit is generally pretty good(I'm 5'10", 140 lbs and got a medium) - but a little extra fabric around the middle causes it to puff out a little, but doesn't bother me too much.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Way too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by New grandma from Lancaster VA on Sunday, March 1, 2015I ordered a 3X and it is more like a large. It is also more like a windbreaker than a heavy jacket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Jacket - A little less warm than expectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by ccc from Baltimore on Wednesday, December 31, 2014I love this jacket. It looks great and I can wear it to the office, it's held up to some heavy rain keeping my completely dry, and it's done a great job at blocking some strong winter winds. My only critique is that for 100g insulation, it's not as warm as I'd expected. I know that synthetic insulation can vary from product to product, and it's not like this insulation is worthless, but I wouldn't wear it out in less than 45F/7C weather without another layer. That being said, I was expecting to have to wear layers as it gets close to freezing, and it's still a great jacket, so I'd absolutely make the purchase again.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Didn't fit, so Rating is subjectiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dan the Fan from Kansas City on Friday, December 26, 2014This jacket seemed to be just what I was looking for: a good volume of sheet synthetic insulation, with a waterproof shell. But, 2 problems with that: 1) the jacket was way too big, and STP doesn't have a small, and 2) the insulation seemed way too thin to provide the warmth I expected. I could only guess about that, because I could wear the jacket. Returned the same day. Sorry.
