4.0 out of 5 stars. A Fall weather impulse buyReviewed by Lamont Cranston from No. CA. on Thursday, December 17, 2015It was a cold, rainy, gray day and Sierra Trading sent me one of those "great discount" emails. I don't have a lot of heavier weight shirts. Usually, I will layer. I bought this shirt because of the picture. It is a good medium to heavyweight material. I am 6', 210 lbs with a 36" sleeve. Most XL shirts will come close to fitting. This one is a little "blousy" around the waist. The sleeves and shoulders fit well, but the body of the shirt is a little on the long side and would have room for an ample mid section, which I have been able to avoid so far. Luckily, I like my shirts on the loose side. If it is really cold I could wear a heavy base layer. I avoid wearing a coat, if I can, until it gets into the 20's or it is pouring rain. I don't know how well this shirt will take abuse over time, but at the sale price, it was a good deal.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Canyon Guide Great Planins Heather Chamois Shirts ShrinkVerified Buyer Reviewed by Deb from Nebraska on Monday, February 23, 2015These chamois shirts are beautiful and very soft and warm, but while they were plenty big before washing, the shrinkage was more than we have experienced with other brands (the sleeves became too short for easy movement). The collars also do not lay neatly after laundering and are more puckered than other brands we have purchased. They are, however, very nice shirts other than these two issues.
