5.0 out of 5 stars. Efficient and lightweight classic bindingReviewed by Anonymous from New England on Thursday, November 27, 2014After using "system" XC boots for many years (NNNBC, Salomon, etc) I tried these with some nice leather 75mm 3-pin boots. Wow! You get much more control over your skis with the 3-pin binding. Turns become easy rather than terrifying. And the 75mm Vibram 3-pin sole has nice action on it, you get a "spring to your step" during kick & glide instead of the dead feeling with system bindings.
The Super Tele actually weighs less than the NNNBC bindings, I am converting my last pair of skis over to Super Tele this winter. I have Voile 3-pin on some of my skis, but I prefer the Super Tele for skis where I don't need the cable. The Super Tele is slightly lighter, and it's easier to lock and release the bail with the Rottefella. Also, the plate under the heel is thinner and lower with the Super Tele, I prefer this to the higher Voile heel plate (it has to be higher to accommodate climbing wires, which like the cable I don't need on my lighter telemark/XC skis).
