There's a big unfinished seam inside the left slipper which must be why these were separates. -

My first thought as I slipped them on was that they felt like cardboard. They were too large for my feet. I have had 4-5 pairs of Acorn slippers over the years and size medium have always fit. I returned them for a pair of Highlander slippers, a style I have had previously.

I had another pair of Acorn slippers, and just assumed these would be the same: more of a "house shoe," good for standing in while cooking, working around the house, and making a trip out for the mail or newspaper. After a few weeks of this sort of use, the pink blanket stitch trim yarn has shed quite a bit. The sole does have a nice tread, for tile or wood floors.

There seems to be a little difference in sizing on some Acorn styles. These fit true to size for her. She does normally wear socks with them. -
