4.0 out of 5 stars. Just a little bit too shortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Vegas Al from Las Vegas on Tuesday, July 16, 2019This is a nicely designed and constructed product. The only issue is that it is great as a walking cane, but slightly too short to be used as a trekking pole. I’m 5’9” and at max extension it is about 2” too short to be comfortable.
Luckily my wife is shorter than me, so she is using it. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great walking/hiking aideVerified Buyer Reviewed by iltwob from California on Monday, July 8, 2019This spring-loaded, adjustable hiking aide is easy to use once you figure out the tightening mechanisms. You actually have to tighten the pole sections themselves, not the rubber pieces separating them. I have bought a few adjustable poles for hiking, but this one fits in my luggage, and possibly in a carry-on if the two sections are completely separated, though I have not tried that yet. It worked well to support me while walking over very uneven lava rock just recently in Hawai’I, though the tightening mechanism did slip once, perhaps my fault.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Just what I neededVerified Buyer Reviewed by Girlfriend Liza from North Carolina on Tuesday, June 18, 2019After knee surgery I need to walk with a cane. My elbow hurt until I got my Komperdell Walker Cane. I highly recommend. I purchased the tips and it works great on all surfaces at work.

4.0 out of 5 stars. If only...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Thomas from NC on Monday, November 19, 2018I expect I would be writing a thoroughly positive review of the Komperdell Walker I recently purchased, however after one brief walk using it, the rubber tip came off who knows exactly where, so it's lost. I ordered extra tips which I wasn't expecting to have to do right away. Of course, until the new tips arrive I am without the use of my Komperdell!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Komperdell walker cane gripVerified Buyer Reviewed by nancy from WA on Sunday, September 16, 2018GREAT PRODUCT! Have had this for years and have had so many comments regarding it. Used to use it just for hiking, and for trips, collapses easily to fit in the suitcase but now that I need a cane, this is what I use. Hands down this is the best. Just ordered my second one to make sure I always have one available in case STP runs out of stock or my original one breaks down but it has lasted for years so far. Purchased a rubber "walking foot" from a sporting goods store when I lost the tip. A wine cork works in an emergency.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Walker! Great Warranty too!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Northern California on Wednesday, September 12, 2018I bought this walker cane in 2014 after spinal cord injury that left me without balance and drop foot in my right leg. After surgery I used a granny four legged walker then any ole' cane or pole that could help keep me upright.
This cane with its' anti-shock is just the right height for me at its' highest height settings. One night I had to rush out into the garage and grabbed the collapsed cane and over-extended it. When I put weight on it, it snapped of course (220#). Komperdell has a lifetime repair policy and they fixed it and I ordered a second one from Sierra Trading Post. Now I have two and find them almost as good as my trekking poles in pairs or singly. I recommend this cane and Sierra Trading Post. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. My Best FriendReviewed by wanderweg from Colorado on Wednesday, June 13, 2018For the past year, I suffered from osteoarthritis in my hip. I still wanted to walk with my dogs as much as possible. This cane made that possible for me. Now I'm post-op, it's still helping me not just to walk (though that's its big gift) but also to balance, put on my shorts and to pick up things! I can't wait to take it out on some real trails -- somehow I feel that will be kind of a reward for it.
The height adjustments are the twist type -- which has never been my favorite -- but on this pole they work, stay firm and adjust easily. Believe me, if you need a lightweight, adjustable, strong cane, this is a very good choice. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Light and well builtVerified Buyer Reviewed by AR Fisherman from Arkansas on Wednesday, May 23, 2018I got this because I have random foot and ankle pain. I usually use a hiking pole when hiking, but I believe this will provide me with more stability on days of higher pain.
