5.0 out of 5 stars. Need an extra legVerified Buyer Reviewed by TerryO from New Hampshire on Monday, May 15, 2017After having knee surgery an extra leg was needed to keep an old man active and the set of Komperdell Basic Trekking Poles was exactly what was needed! I hike frequently thru New England and the light weight and adjustable Trekking Poles have been a huge help to stabilize myself while hiking! I love them and would certainly recommend them to everyone of all ages because you never know when you may step onto an unstable area or slippery leaves as my wife did last fall!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great item for the priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Puerto Rico on Monday, May 8, 2017I bought them as gift for someone that is pretty much a beginner in outdoors activities. This poles are light, sturdy and very well built. My only concern is the Handles which are made of a composite or synthetic material. Other than that, they look and perform great.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great product, but missing piecesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Monday, January 16, 2017I was extremely excited to receive my Komperdell Basic Trekking Poles in the mail. They are great quality and they are versatile enough to use with snowshoes (and winter baskets), or just for hiking. However, when I received them one of the summer baskets of the pair that they come with was missing from the packaging. Not quite sure what happened to it!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Komperdell Basic Trekking PolesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jim the Hiker from Western U.S. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016I bought these poles for family hiking trips. I couldn't find my Komperdell Anti-Shock poles and needed something to replace them with. They worked great and the quality is what you would expect from Komperdell. Strong and easy to adjust their length. So far I haven't missed the anti-shock feature of my originals, but I haven't used these to descend steep terrain yet. They worked well in moderate conditions and give extra stability when crossing streams or navigating rocky sections.
