Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and FUN

These are Minnesota boots, warm, easy to get on and off, waterproof, skidproof and the best part - really fun looking. The picture doesn't do justice to the patent leather look and textured boot top. I get lots of compliments on these boots. I have to have warm boots living here, but having decent looking boots is a real plus.

Waste of money.......................... It must be a joke that this boots are waterproof and suitable to extreme temp. What ever you do don't go that store ever!!
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Cute not warm

My toes were freezing after twenty minutes and wet if I walked through the smallest amount of slush. They also scuff on the tops super easy and then look horrible. Kept for couple months. Waste of money for me.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Didn't last one winter

These boots didn't even last me one winter before the toe area cracked allowing water in, and where the seam of the sole meets the boot is already separated in the back heel area of one. These boots should be priced at $20 for the amount of use I got out of them. What a waste. I really loved them and bought them to match my new winter coat, and now I'll have to throw them out after only 3 months use. Not worth the purchase, don't bother.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. I really wanted to love these - I did, until the sprung a leak
Reviewed by Anonymous from Buffalo, NY on Wednesday, February 11, 2015
I bought these to match my new winter coat and I loved them until now. It's not even been two months of having them and I stepped in a deep puddle and got home to find my sock was wet!! I was hoping it was just the cold sensation, but no. The plastic part on the front toe cracks as part of the break-in process, but apparently the water rolls right in and it's not just a surface crack. Sucks. Because I paid a lot of money for these shoes when I never pay that much money for shoes, but I live in Buffalo and I needed to make a worthy investment in a new winter coat and boots. They fit well, they look good. They say rated to -20 but my toes get cold pretty quick, but the rest of the boot is warm. Basically, I'm very upset I wasted $100. Just proves that paying more money doesn't mean you're getting a better quality product. The boots I had from PayLess lasted YEARS with no problems. I hope Sierra Trading Post reads this and considers replacing them for me. I really don't want any other boot, I saw these and loved them - so I wish I could believe that mine was just a defect and I could replace them and be happy, but I highly doubt it. BAH! Such a bummer.
