4.0 out of 5 stars. Love these!Reviewed by Deeds n VA from Richmond, VA on Thursday, March 5, 2015Got these for the waterproof and insulated features mostly, but I also like the way they look. Besides wearing them for cleaning off the walkway in snow, they're stylish enough to wear to work with a skirt, etc. Haven't tested them in the snow yet but they feel good - not bulky, true to size (I wear 8 1/2 in street shoes, almost always go to a 9 for boots, etc.) and the 9 feel just right. I can wear medium/thick socks with them and it works. I have 15" calves and these zip up. Not a lot of extra room, so good for larger calves without tucking pants in. Probably loose on small/normal calves. Not sure how the 'shoe' part will hold up in weather, it looks like 'patent leather' but for the price, I'm very happy with them thus far.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cassandra from Connecticut on Thursday, February 26, 2015They are warm in this arctic grip of freezing weather, they're easy on & off with the front zip, they're comfortable with or without thick socks, and they are great looking! Thanks to other reviews I ordered a full size up and that was right. I never would have thought a nine would be good for me as I'm usually a reliable eight. The top of the boots fits over my pants and even high socks, so they'd probably gap on slender legs, as I have dancer's calves.

5.0 out of 5 stars. love them!!!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Boston, MA on Friday, February 13, 2015This is my 2nd pair of these boots. They are great!!! Love the zip in the front, makes it easy to get my foot in & out, and I have a high instep. The boot does have a little heel, just FYI, but it isn't too high it just keeps you out of water puddles! I would say the boot is 90% waterproof - I can wear it out shoveling for hours and get a little moisture. I put an insole into the boot for added warmth. The boot looks great and is slim, easy to drive in and looks nice with skirts.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Snowy-styleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jen the Scout leader from Chicago on Thursday, February 5, 2015These boots are amazing! Not only are they something stylish for others to be gawking at but so functional too. I tried them for the first time sledding with my daughter's Girl Scout troop and I haven't taken them off yet since we've had 19 inches of snow.

3.0 out of 5 stars. I wanted to like theseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sara from Colorado on Tuesday, February 3, 2015Because it's hard to find an inexpensive, tall, black, vegan, waterproof boot that can be sort of dressy (or at least worn to work with slacks or with a dress), and has a fairly low heel. These looked like they could be the pair for me! but they were not comfortable. I normally wear a size 9 or 9.5 and I bought these in size 9 M. The top of my foot was squished. I also wasn't a huge fan of the shiny material on the foot area - much prefer the shaft material. I found another pair of Khombu boots that I liked a lot better, so I went with those instead.
