5.0 out of 5 stars. Just what I wantedReviewed by 1Yotee from Syracuse, NY on Saturday, November 28, 2015Bought this to make my deer hunting easier. I use to go hunting with a small hip pack with calls, scents and snacks, shoot the deer, gut it, walk to the car & drop hip pack, weapon and a layer of clothes, walk back to deer dragging a cooler filled with rope, block & tackle, knives etc. Hang & debone deer, put everything into cooler and drag it all out. Much easier than dragging a 175 lb deer out but still a pain. Twice this year I have worn this out as a hip pack with a pulley set, foldable gambrel, knives etc in the large pocket, my calls and scents in the outer smaller back pocket and snacks and 1st aid kit in the side belt pockets. I shoot the deer, gut, hang & debone, open the backpack and hook it up, line with a large trash bag, fill with meat, zip it up and pull out the large clothe that is for carrying out the head, snap that into place and put a layer of clothes in that, and walk out. A large doe and everything I walked in with is a heavy load but after 2 times I wouldn't go back to doing it any other way. For you guys wondering how to use all the bells and whistles this pack has should go to ALPS web site and watch the video. Alps calls this the Pathfinder on their site. ( http://outdoorz.alpsbrands.com/products/packs/hunting-packs/pathfinder ) Great pack.

4.0 out of 5 stars. ALPS OutdoorZ Navigator Hunting BackpackVerified Buyer Reviewed by PeopleEatingTastyAnimals from Missouri on Thursday, September 17, 2015Like some others have said.....pack is kinda confusing. Straps, buckles that seem to go no where. Bought this pack to get food and drinks and other things out to deer stand. Haven't used yet....seems to be a lot of storage in pack, will find out.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Confusing pack?Reviewed by Griff from Washington Cascades on Wednesday, July 1, 2015This pack looked good in the picture. But it reminds me of some of the dog breeds - you just end up asking - Why? Lots of bells and whistles - straps seem to be added with little thought as to function - I couldn't figure it out. The top pack tucks into the bottom pack and cannot be removed. Did not make any sense to me.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Fits a wide rangeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Working from Idaho on Thursday, June 25, 2015Pros- Haven't tried it yet but it cinched down to my 5'4" 125 lbs frame and that was impressive. Con- I was hoping the top pouch zipped completely off but it tucks inside itself which is okay but it cuts down on your storage space.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great BuyReviewed by Kellyn from Oregon on Friday, April 24, 2015Bought this pack for a light duty elk hunting pack. It has plenty of room for all my gear, water, and extra layer of clothes. Good quality with lots of snaps and buckles to store extra gear. Ended up harvesting a really nice Roosevelt elk bull and using the pack to carry out the head and cape. I'm very pleased and would buy another if I needed to.

4.0 out of 5 stars. ALPS NavigatorReviewed by elk hunter from Ft Collins, Colorado on Monday, January 5, 2015I received this from my wife for Christmas 2014. It will replace a larger and heavier BLUE backpack suited more for when we hike 14ers here in Colorado. I packed it with all my elk hunting gear and it has room to spare. The pack is lighter than my old pack so it feels fine. Lots of snaps, buckles, straps, and pockets. It can be converted to a daypack that collapses the main storage pouch when you're just out for a simple day hike. It looks good and she got a killer deal on it just before Christmas. It says it can haul meat out but It could probably only carry half of what my pack frame does. I'll let you know how it does next hunting season.
