The thickness of the sweater was disappointing -- for 2-ply it was the most anemic gauge of its kind I have seen. Maybe nice as a spring sweater, when you're in between seasons. But not for December. Sweater was returned. The color was rich and beautiful; overall the sweater was nicely executed. If only the yarn was a "fuller" 2-ply. Oddly, I have another Forte cashmere sweater which is also 2-ply and comes up to my expectations.

The purple heather color is gorgeous. I have not washed it yet (usually woolite these). The cashmere is thick enough that you don't see through it. I just love it. Over a t-shirt and with a pretty scarf, it can be dressy too. I got it 80% off--if this sale comes again, I will buy more in different colors.
