5.0 out of 5 stars. Quality socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Michal the Hiker from New York on Monday, December 5, 2016These are nice soft socks. They are midweight, so they have this nice cushion feel to them. I bought size XL (12-14) even though I have size 11 shoes. XL fit me just fine. They are a bit loose next to the toes - that's all. I expect them to shrink just a little after washing. This is why I bought XL. I'm happy that I made this decision.

3.0 out of 5 stars. So-SoVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from WY and CO on Monday, August 22, 2016I used to be a diehard Smartwool fan. Not any more. These socks do not fit well--do not have arch support, are not very warm, and caused me to get hot spots when I wore them hiking. Smartwool quality has waned dramatically in recent years. I much prefer the Keen and IceBreaker hiking socks, which have support, are warm yet lightweight and wicking---and don't rub blisters.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfort and PerformanceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rather Bike Than Hike from Utah on Saturday, July 23, 2016Great socks that I just used in a 4-day hike. Two days were over 8 hours on the feet hiking and no problems or complaints. I used a thin sock liner for the long hiking days which was heavenly. But no complaint from SmartWool as you would expect.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great SocksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NW CT on Saturday, June 11, 2016These are another great Smart Wool product. I bought them for warmer weather and am actually pleased that, to me, they are more light weight than midweight. I bought some, then came back and bought more.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Heavy sockVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cretedog from Ohio on Saturday, June 4, 2016The Smart Wool sock midweight is a little heavier than I thought a midweight should be. Overall its a very good sock but it's one I would more wear in the winter than summer. I probably should have ordered a lightweight sock for summer hiking but was unfamiliar with what these socks would be like. I really love the socks and would have rated them a 5 star but for the only reason they were heavier than I expected. They are a soft, tough, fast drying, nice wool sock and I would definately buy them again when I need a winter sock.
