Has a great weight to it and seems it would be very warm. However, the blaze red color is more like blaze orange that a hunter would wear. It didn't occur to me when I ordered it that "blaze" would be flourescent. My son has an olive complexion and this made his skin look sick and yellowy. Might be good for a child with more fair skin. Also, it seems to run small. Purchased an 8 for my average size 7 year old boy, and the sleeves just barely came to his wrists. Such a bummer, we go this at a fantastic price, but had to send it back.
