You can hardly buy a cotton t-shirt for the price of these tech fabric, big name brand shirts so I got one in each color. They fit get and feel better.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great sun protection!

Some reviews have commented that the sleeves are a bit long. Well...they are supposed to be! This shirt is designed to protect you from the sun. I LOVE the fact that the sleeves cover my hands. On a recent hike in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park on an 80 degree day, the shirt kept me cool and provided excellent UPF protection...including the backs of my hands! Plus, my friends said that the red color made it easy to keep me in their sights in the desert. If you want this shirt for casual wear, yeah, the sleeves might be too long. But, that is not what it was designed for.
I am 5'9" and 165 lbs. The medium fit perfectly.
    Thanks STP!

A little long in the arms but no complaints since it's for my son who is growing fast. Looks great and is typical, top-notch Marmot quality. Great deal!

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
