Its like a soft, heavyweight cotton. Nice quality and strong color, good looking plaid pattern. I bought this for my husband who hasn't yet opened it to try on.

The length was maybe a bit excessive but generally OK. The fabric was heavy, as expected, and the snaps were fine although after trying them it seems odd to have snaps on a flannel shirt to me.
