It was roomy in the chest and shoulders but too tight in the hips. That said, it is a really nice jacket, well made, with sturdy zipper and convenient pockets. The crocus color was beautiful. It comes down pretty long over the hips, which I like (but was also my problem). I had to return it and didn't try to size up because it was already very large in the chest and shoulders.
