Great soft shell headwear!Reviewed by gulfbreeze from FL on Friday, February 6, 2015Over the last few winters, I've put heavy wear on a number of traditional microfleece beanies from top name makers (it's not unusual for me to wear one 24/7, even sleeping in them indoors). The performance and warmth of the headgear is always great, but it seems that in short order the exterior fleece is pilling significantly, and I've resigned myself to just count on tossing a couple of them in the trash at the end of each season.
Since getting 2 of these Jacob Ash soft shells this season, they've been a nice change from the microfleece, seem to offer very similar head warming performance, and so far, much less wear and pilling on the exterior soft shell surface. At the great DealFlyer price for these, I've ordered 4 more just to stash them in places (cars, etc) where I may need them.
