I wash the blankets in cold water, gentle setting, mild detergent. Line dry. Works great and the blanket is soft off the line. Exactly the weight and quality I was hoping for. I will enjoy these blankets for years. Quality shows.

Hubby and I used to fight over our barely big enough King sized blanket. This blanket hangs over the edges of the bed at least 6 inches, is a nice "between the sheet & quilt" blanket for sub-zero cold nights, and alone with a sheet for other times (note, our winter indoor temp is 65-68 degrees, you may keep your house warmer). A caveat: it is 100% cotton, not pre-shrunk so treat it accordingly. If you are going to wash the blanket in hot water, and dry it to a crisp on high in the dryer, expect some shrinking! The company does state it is over-sized to accommodate shrinking, but be advised!
