I've tried many. I bought this blanket because the reviews were good and it wasn't a typical comforter, plush or fleece. I couldn't be happier! When I first received it, it didn't seem like much. Then, I put it on my bed and slept with it. WOW! It does remind me of "grandma's blanket", but much softer. Sooo soft! It was -17° last night, so I put my comforter on top of it, but that softness next to my body makes it hard to get out of bed. Do yourself a favor and buy this blanket, you won't be disappointed!

I love the blanket. I live in a Southern state ... I keep the heat turned down at night. This blanket and a light, medium weight quilt will be cozy warm. Even in the south we get cold nights. This blanket alone will be fine in mild weather. This is a blanket you will have for years. Remember to keep it out of a hot drier. I wash in cold and hang outside...no drier. Drying clothes, especially cotton will break down the fibers, causing them to wear faster. Mild soap. -

In this case, the 5 star reviews (which were the only ones I saw when I considered purchasing this blanket) was SPOT ON!!! This blanket is not only gorgeous in appearance and soft texture, it is very well made! The seams and stitching are straight and the blanket has ample fabric to adjust for shrinkage when washed. I washed it upon opening to test this, and it had very little shrinkage. The blanket is of medium weight but because the weave is so tight, it warms you like a heavier blanket. This is an EXCELLENT PURCHASE at this price point. If you are a picky customer like me, you will not regret buying it. Thank you Sierra.

This blanket was a great deal and fabulous quality. It is so soft, light, warm and cozy. I never want to get out of my bed and my puppy feel in love with it as well. I have a feeling this will be the last blanket I purchase for awhile. I am always worried about online purchases of higher end items but now I'm keeping an eye on the down pillows by the same brand.
