4.0 out of 5 stars. Ramesa V2 Convertible Hiking PantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Charlottesville on Wednesday, May 4, 2016I bought these at a closeout sale online. I haven't hiked in them yet and am happy enough although the waistline is large compared to other size 6 pants in this brand and other brands I have tried. Otherwise fit great for hiking with the twill fabric and the full inseam gusset. I now need a suitable belt and I intend to sew on a few extra belt loops. Note: Smartphone will not fit in front zip pocket.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice pants, but the cut didn't work for meReviewed by Grayfeather from Teton Valley, Idaho on Monday, March 14, 2016I typically like Mountain Hardwear products, but the shape of these pants just didn't work for me. I am 5'5" and ~145 pounds, usually a size 10 in pants. I ordered a 10 in these, but found the waist and hips to be a bit too loose (belt needed). The upper legs were okay, but became progressively tighter going down toward the zip-off part, to the point that sitting or squatting would be really uncomfortable. Thus, the thought of hiking in these was out of the question. I have biggish legs, but don't usually encounter this issue in pants. Sending them back. Nice material, though! Not too slippery and not shiny.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Third try is the charmVerified Buyer Reviewed by MermAnn from Black Hills, SD on Thursday, March 10, 2016This is the first pair of convertibles that actually fits & looks good on me. I am 5'6" and 135 and the size I bought (6) 32" length fits well. I generally wear men's 30x32 due to slim hips & shorter torso. These ride low.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Fit is strangeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Vermont on Sunday, February 14, 2016I order these in a size 8 but they were a bit snug for hiking. I ordered a size 10 and they fit strangely. The waste was large and the legs were tight. Returning them both.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Way too big but nice pants.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Wednesday, December 2, 2015I ordered the size 2 as I've noticed that women's sizes have been "growing" (I wore a size 6 when I was at the same weight years ago). At 5'4", 115 pounds, these pants' waist could hold two of me. I do like them, though, so I will pay to have them altered.
Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Love the pants but they run big! Order a size down!Reviewed by NH Hiker from NH on Wednesday, November 11, 2015I should have listened to other reviewers and ordered down a size. I love the material but the waist is too big. the legs feel okay (others have reported that they feel large also but I don't find this to be true). I'm sending them back to exchange for a size 6 and hope that the overall fit will be good. FYI, I"m a bit under 5'7", 132 # and usually wear a size 8.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very good pantVerified Buyer Reviewed by Emily from Tennessee on Monday, October 26, 2015Like this pant a lot. This brand is made for curves so i love it. These specific pants don't have a lot of stretch it give in them so they're a little more limiting than I prefer but they are still very nice pants. I'd buy them again but maybe go up a size for increased comfort.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Sizing is way off the markVerified Buyer Reviewed by KittyMom from Chesapeake Beach, MD on Thursday, October 15, 2015Good hiking pants should have plenty of room or stretch, but these were ridiculous. I order ed a size 2. The pants, waist & legs, were enormous. Literally fell off if I didn't hold them up. While wearing a belt, the excess bunched up too much at the waist and hips. Alternatively, the Mountain Hardware Mirada convertible pants (also ordered from STP) in size 2 fit well, just a little long.
