2.0 out of 5 stars. Shoe runs small in lengthVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Monday, June 22, 2015I am a typical 11 1/2 in nearly every instance of shoe variety. But this line of Keen shoes definitely runs a bit short - my toes were right up against the end of the shoe. Too bad, as I liked the style and feel in the heel. On return now.....

5.0 out of 5 stars. Well-Made KeensVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jim T Mule from Rock Island, IL on Sunday, June 21, 2015I've owned and gone through several pairs of Keen shoes, boots, and sandals. Most styles I've purchased have had heavier-duty soles and I've been extremely happy with them, though I've seen and heard of some styles with much less sturdy soles (usually respective to their intended purpose). These definitely fall into the former category, and they're the first American-made Keens I've owned. I purchased these as seconds but didn't find the blemish (a small "gouge" in the back of one of the rubber heel caps) right away and it's hardly noticeable unless pointed out. Otherwise, these shoes are a well-made example of what you expect from classic Keens. They're comfortable and built for performance. They're not at all streamlined (kind of a "chunky" shoe), but they are waterproof and I think that's the trade off. They could easily transition from muddy summer hikes into sloppy, early-winter slush with a quick change of socks and are pretty good-looking to boot, especially given the STP bargain. They seem to run pretty true to size but the toe box isn't as wide as some Keens I've owned. My only choice was size 13 and I typically would order a 12.5 for this style of shoe, but the extra half size worked great given the slightly narrower toe box. So far I've been very happy with my first pair of American-built Keens and recommend them highly.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes, great priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Donnyrock from Eastern Oregon on Saturday, June 20, 2015Bought the Keens as I wanted a waterproof hiking shoe for side hikes on river trips. These shoes exceeded my expectations for comfort and for durability.Got them 1 daybefore a Hells Canyon float trip and took them without any breakin .Shoes were excellent in bouldering large slick river boulders, great traction and were very sturdy.Super comfortable and fit in dry bag better than boots.I would recommend these to all my friends and am very happy with this Keen product

1.0 out of 5 stars. Great pair of hiking shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker of the Sequioas from Maryland on Thursday, June 18, 2015Mu husband says that they are very comfy and easy to walk in. You do need to walk in them for at least 2-3 days, for your foot to mold into them and then they get comfy. I have a pair of the female version and I agree with my husband on these keens.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Worth it!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from California on Saturday, June 13, 2015Had seen the Keen Durand 2nds previously offered by STP but they sold out quickly. Decided to jump on these this time knowing as "2nds" there would be some sort of cosmetic issue, but at this price it was worth the gamble. On my pair there was a small notch in the midsole of one shoe where it meets the upper. A dab of black Shoe-Goo and you can hardly tell. Everything else in the construction looks like a "1st" (your mileage may vary) for way way less $$$. The fit is just right (went up 1/2 size) and they work fine with my Sole brand insoles in spite of the raised pad in the heel. Very comfortable with good cushioning, plus support and no break-in time. Of course being assembled in America is a nice plus. Wearing for hiking as well as work where they frequently get wet and the KeenDry waterproofing does a good job while being decently breathable. Best Keens I've worn and looking forward to them lasting a long time!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Well MadeReviewed by Sheepdog from Texas on Saturday, June 13, 2015These are very well made. They are a little stiff and need some break in time. If in doubt size up.
