Great Fit and FunctionReviewed by Outdoor Fun from Foothills of the Adirondacks on Friday, March 27, 2015These are the 2nd pair of Kuhl's I purchased so I ordered these in the size of my other pants. So, I'd say if you are a 6 in one style made by them, you'd be a 6 in a different style by them. These fit great. I wouldn't say skin tight, but not loose. There is room to move your legs for a hike or gentle climbing as they don't have a whole lot of give to the material. The material is thin and light weight which will be great for summer hiking. 100% nylon. The 2 pockets in the back and the one on the right thigh are covered with flaps. The 2 pockets in the front are open. The inseam on these is 29½" and I am 5'3" The tag says 6 short. They have belt loops, but there is also an internal drawstring. What I love most of these pants is that they fit a curvy figure, but with the draw string at the waist, they would probably work for a straighter figure too without bunching.

Runs really small (my regular size is 2) and size 4 that I ordered (since size 2 is no longer available) did not even fit me well. Too tight in the waist and hip. Fabric is also not soft at all compared to other brands I purchased. Had to return.

I'm about 5' 4 and weigh 110 with a boyish figure (small hips). In most clothes (Banana Republic, Loft, etc.) a size 2 pant fits me pretty perfectly. These size 2 were very tight, and even though others have said they loosen after being worn for awhile, I didn't want to take the chance they won't be comfortable. I sent them back and got size 4, and they fit great. The 30 inseam is a tiny bit shorter than I would like, but I tried them on both with water sandals and my hiking shoes, and they look fine. The material is very lightweight, so I look forward to using them this summer. I imagine they will keep me cool and dry quickly, too.
