Pants are great for hiking/scrambling - ballistic-type fabric, but very light weight and loose fitting. Note that these are too thin to be winter pants, but still very rugged. Cell phone pocket is a little narrow but doubles as a gear pocket - rear pockets are deep well. These easily double as work pants - inseam is true to size.
