I was disappointed that there were red smears on the back of the plate, apparently from whatever was used to apply the red color during production. I kept it for my grandson to use when he comes to visit, but could not use it as a gift as I had intended.

The decals on top of the dish ware are poorly executed. Also the the ceramic finish is not consistent. Too bad. I loved the design. I bought the Mickey and the Minnie. I was disappointed in both of them. I bought them as a present and do not feel I can give them as they clearly are flawed.
