This shirt however frayed in two different places after the second wash. I tried to upload a supporting photo but was unable. We are disappointed that such an Iconic brand which we have supported for so long will now lose customers because of poor quality control.

Oddly narrow in the torso in an otherwise "normal" shirt. I'm an average-shaped female who often fits perfectly into men's small shirts. I'm not into tight clothes, so a men's shirt is usually cut better for my preferences. This shirt was, of course, straight like that, but so narrow that I felt it pull to move my elbows and shoulders around. The medium would have been too large in the shoulder. So if you're a skinny guy with normal shoulders, this should fit you perfectly.

This is a great looking merino wool shirt, perfect for travelling. It's on the expensive side but at stp is much cheaper than alternatives found elsewhere.

Exceeded (already high) expectationsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Brandon from Minneapolis on Monday, April 20, 2015If you're an Icebreaker fan then the quality and softness of the wool will not come as a surprise. This is a high quality garment, and definitely light enough for warm weather wear. One thing that's really great about this shirt compared with other "streetwear" items made with technical fabrics is that this shirt, unlike many competitors', drapes really well, like it's made of good cotton. Some other reviewers said that the fit was overly generous, but that was not my experience. I am 6'0", 175 lbs, 40R suit and the medium was a perfect, slim (but not tight) fit. I am not sure if I'll ever use the chest pocket, but it's pretty unobtrusive (especially with the plaid) so I don't mind it being there. One other thing--I nearly decided not to buy this because the photos (here and everywhere else I could see online) made it look like the plaid matching between the pocket flap and the chest was really poorly done. I took a chance, and the shirt I received was great--perfectly aligned vertical and horizontal lines over the pocket flap.

Softer, lighter fabric than the Icebreaker Lodge shirt but not quite as roomy. Nevertheless, the 2XL fits my 48" chest and 16" arms okay. It's a bit snug but not form-fitting by any means. Hard to believe its been discontinued. I guess there's not much demand at the retail price point.
