4.0 out of 5 stars. Not sure about the sizing complaints.Verified Buyer Reviewed by VtBikommuter from Vermont on Thursday, February 25, 2016I ordered up to a large based on reviews stating slim body and long, slim arms. I am 6'3" and 170lbs. I think the fit is actually true to size and somewhat looser in the torso compared to other brands with similar products. The arm length is perfect for getting over gloves for a tight seal. I have worn this almost every day for the past 3 months bike commuting in Vermont, and it has been outstanding against the rain and snow. The zippers are a bit sticky, but this is to be expected with sealed zipper design.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Waterproof Jacket!Reviewed by Anonymous from Manila, Philippines on Monday, October 19, 2015Great value for money! Got this jacket on my stop in San Francisco, CA, USA for the famed Helly Hansen quality with 3-ply HellyTech Professional fabric (Rating: Waterproof: 20,000 / Breathability 20,000) combined with stylish appeal & eye-catching colors (canary yellow with blue piping)!
Just a little bit on the Slim-side (definitely not Regular Sized)! Still, it's really comfortable and fully protects its wearer from the elements. I recently used it in Category 2, typhoon-strength rains and remained dry, comfortably cool, and unimpeded in movement. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. great coatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington on Friday, September 25, 2015I absolutely love this coat, but please pay attention to other reviews. It does fit slim through the chest and has longer arms. This seems to be a pretty standard fit for XL Helly Hansen apparel. I am 6'1" and 210 pounds. My dress shirt size is a 17 neck 36 inch sleeve slim fit. This coat fits me perfectly. It is like it is tailored just for my size. I don't like extra material in the apparel that I wear and this coat is perfect. In my experience with Helly Hansen their gear does run slim. Beyond the size the material is great and i have worn it through the rain a few times. The water beads up and no water gets through. I am looking forward to many years of use out of this great HH product.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent product; superb bargain!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from SF, CA on Tuesday, September 8, 2015The product is superb---high visibility in stormy conditions, comfortable, and classy looks! Fit me well, too...the earlier price point I got this product for was an excellent bargain given the Helly Hansen level of HellyTech Professional coverage (20,000 Waterproof rating + 20,000 Breathability Rating)!

5.0 out of 5 stars. GreatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Florida on Tuesday, September 1, 2015Fit feels good. Fabric great. Haven't used it in rain yet. Arms are long but with Velcro you can adjust length. I can imagine in cold rain nice to put sleeves over hands...

1.0 out of 5 stars. Size is not right, way too tight!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Bay Village, OH-IO, Go Bucks! on Monday, January 19, 2015The body size of the Odin Traverse Jacket was way too tight in the body and the arm length was too long. The way this jacket is cut it would only fit a very slim person with very long arms.I question whether the jacket is not a second/closeout because it is made wrong. I was very disappointed in the fit and returned it.
The HH rain jacket I bought from you last year fits great and I wear it all the time. The HH logo on the front says workwear. The dimensions of the two jackets, while both being the same size (2XL), are very different. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great coat!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ski bumb from New Hampshire on Monday, November 24, 2014I haven't worn this in a deluge yet, but expect it to work well. Fit is as expected. Color is BRIGHT, so if you think/hope it might not be, you'll be disappointed. Only gave it 4 stores because I haven't fully tested the coat, not because of any faults.

3.0 out of 5 stars. This jacket is for stick people with long armsReviewed by The California Kid from California on Thursday, October 30, 2014After returning my first, Large, for an XL it showed up with the same tight fit around the pits and shoulders. The only change seemed to be even longer sleeves. I wear 34 sleeves in shirt sizes and the XL was four inches beyond the end of my fingers. So, if you are 6'-6" tall and weigh less than 150 pounds this is a perfect jacket. I am very disappointed because it is a very nice, well made shell.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Careful with selecting sizeReviewed by The California Kid from California on Thursday, October 23, 2014I just received this in a Large, which I normally wear, and actually have a HH shell from 5-6 years ago in large that fits great. This was tight under the arm pits, as if I were trying on a Medium. I am exchanging for XL but figured I'd let others know. I'm 5-11 and 190.
