I am 5'10" and only 150 lbs the small fits nice and snug for an under layer. -

I ordered a medium and it's a fairly tight fit though I am quite slim at 5' 9" and 142lbs. The sleeves won't give you much room for any underlayers. It is an attractive design and I am keeping it anyway. Perhaps a large would have suited me better.

Fits me like a glove at 5' 9", 175 and athletic build. The side panels are black, not the bright white/grey as in pic. Wear alone or easily as a mid-layer. I'll use this 3 seasons a year.
