It hit too low on my legs and the extra material made my hips look even bigger than they are. The medium fit me, but it just wasn't flattering. My teenage daughter who is 3 inches taller and about 20 pounds lighter than me tried it on and, while it is a little loose on her, it looks amazing. We have determined that this isn't a dress for a pear shaped person- but it will look great on you if you are tall and thin!

I was hoping the empire a-line combo, generally flattering on me, would work, but the combination of fabric and style was sadly a fail so I returned it. The empire has a little bulk to it, and the woven cotton fabric just didn't lay well on my curves. I think if I were either taller or...flatter, or possibly both it would have been a hit.
The quality is there in construction, and just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for someone. But if you're short and "blessed by nature" in the chest area you may want to think twice.
