4.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for me, but maybe not for youReviewed by Anonymous from NYC area on Sunday, October 16, 2016This shirt has a very specific fit. It's narrow across the bust and around arms, and generous around the hips. If you're a small busted pear shape, this is a great shirt. It fits me perfectly, but I would not recommend for others who are differently proportioned. I will say, I have normal-sized arms, and I find the forearms quite tight; there is no extra room to have a tailor move the buttons, which is why I give this four stars rather than five. This is only an issue at the cuff, the rest of the arm has a normal fit. Because it fit me so well otherwise, I bought a set of button extenders, and now it's quite comfortable.
As to look, it's a flattering cut (assuming it fits). It follows a princess line and the stripes are subtle but give both a flattering shape and a slightly boho flavor.
As far as wear, the shirt is nice and breathable. I bought it for a trip to the Middle East and it looks like it will do the trick. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. for small busted womanReviewed by RR fan from MO on Thursday, February 11, 2016This shirt is well made and the fabric is really nice. The problem is the fit. Very small in the bust but full at the bottom. I have other RR shirts and the fit is not the same. Better for a pear shape.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice practical shirtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Marieold from CA on Monday, August 10, 2015I plan on wearing this shirt alone and also open over a tank. Love the zip pocket on the side seam and the sleeves roll up to elbow length. No wrinkles when drip dried so great for travel.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Awkward fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by TX hiker from Texas on Tuesday, June 23, 2015This top looked cute in the pictures but had a strange fit. I'm consistently a size medium in Royal Robbins--5'8", 128#, 34C, small boned build, and most mediums in this brand fit perfectly with a little room to spare. However, this top ran a little short, the bust was tight enough that the buttons were strained and fabric gapped at the chest, and strangely enough, the cuffs on the sleeves were tight even on my thin arms. I really wanted to like it...but not a keeper.

4.0 out of 5 stars. little thingsVerified Buyer Reviewed by teacher from VA on Tuesday, June 2, 2015This shirt was great in a lot of ways. The shirt was slightly fitted, the neckline was flattering, the material great, and the sleeves weren't too tight as I've noticed on other shirts. But on my 5'4" frame, the shirt was a little longer than I would have wanted. Also the buttons were positioned so that it created a gap around the chest.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Almost perfect...Reviewed by Michelle from seattle, wa on Tuesday, March 10, 2015I own three Venture shirts. They are my favorite tops for hiking in or going to the beach.
What I love most about these shirts is the textured stripe pattern, stylish colors, longer length through the torso, quick drying fabric, and generous sizing. I am a size 36C, US 8/10 and own the Medium. I have ample hips and backside. This shirt flatters my hourglass shape by tucking in slightly at the waist and with a subtle flare at the hips. When I buckle the waistband on my backpack child carrier for hiking, this shirt does not ride up and expose my midsection, like most button down tops would, but rather provides the coverage I need with the longer length. The sleeve on the 3/4 style is a bit tight on my forearm. I am not chunky but not slim either so if you are average build you may also find that it feels a big snug there although it is not tight enough to leave a mark so not a deal breaker for me.
My only complaint is the collar. I wish it was a standard color, both for appearance and for modesty. To make up for it, I wear a lightweight scarf from Pistil, both for sun protection or warmth depending on the season. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Just Didn't Fit RightReviewed by Anonymous from Eureka, CA on Thursday, January 15, 2015I usually wear a 12, sometimes a 10. I ordered a Large (with the bluish stripes) and it was WAY too tight, especially in the arms and across the chest. I am not that tall (5'4") and am quite short-waisted. The blouse was just too long for me, especially between the waist and the neck; material was bunching up on my back above my waist. I had high hopes for this top, but, alas, it is gong back.
