5.0 out of 5 stars. 500 MilesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Barb the Hiker from New Mexico on Sunday, August 28, 2016I took over a year to really break in these hiking boots and can I say that they have held up to 500 miles of hiking up 1000 to 3000 feet elevation changes. After using these boots for roughly 80 miles last summer, I hiked all summer in these boots. I highly recommend Asolo to anyone. I am ordering a couple of new pairs and hope that they stand up as well.

Love!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lynna from Washington on Thursday, March 17, 2016I thought i would give some lightweight hiking boots a try my heavy duty Asolo boots have lasted seven years so far and still goin strong so i decided to stick with the Asolo brand... I have worn them in downpour with my feet staying toasty and dry... love the look and fit so much i wear them regularly.. looking forward to putting some serious mileage on these this summer...

2.0 out of 5 stars. For lighter hikingReviewed by Anonymous from Massachusetts on Monday, February 8, 2016These were not what I expected, though they fit well. They appear to be for lighter hiking where less support is needed. The upper ankle support is primarily mesh, with little support so I did not feel they would be much of an improvement over hiking sneakers. There was also no arch support, for me a deal breaker, so I had to return.

4.0 out of 5 stars. super light!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Isabikes from california on Thursday, January 21, 2016These boots were for my rapidly growing 13 year old. She loves them. They are very light, which makes them great for hiking in the summer.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice ankle support - cuteReviewed by Tiffyannbug from Oklahoma City, OK on Tuesday, January 12, 2016Will try to remember to report back on how well these hold up. They seem very comfortable with super support. Seem extremely well-made. Have worn them around but not yet hiking. They are made to accommodate the need for hikers to have some extra room for swelling and thick socks, so DO NOT ORDER A SIZE UP. Order your normal size - these already have the extra sizing built in! I think I'm going to love these boots (I mean, I do already, but expect to even more so once I hike in them!)

4.0 out of 5 stars. Asolo Hiking Boots for womenVerified Buyer Reviewed by cholla from Texas on Tuesday, December 8, 2015The verdict is still out on these boots for me. I followed advice from several reviewers and ordered a size down which didn't work for me. So the boots are on their way back to Sierra and I have ordered a size larger. The rating is a four star because I really loved the weight and fit of the boots.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Asolo hiking bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Alex from Virginia on Monday, November 9, 2015To be honest I bought these boots because they are made in Romania and I'm an proud Romanian working in US. I haven't used them on a long hike, so I can't say too much about them, but I noticed that they are keeping my feet warm, which is great. I'm glad about the purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars. A Great Pair of BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Estes Park, CO on Friday, August 7, 2015I am a volunteer at Rocky Mountain National Park as well as an avid hiker. I have another pair of Asolo boots which I wear on most longer hikes and think are the best boots ever. Because I don't always need an aggressive boot but still need ankle support, I decided to get a lightweight hiking boots. Theses Elley MLs are wonderful. They don't weigh much and are very breathable and the ankle support is great. The only downside on these boots is the color. They are a very light grey with orange trim. It is a small problem and one that will be soon remedied as I am out on dusty trails. I can't imagine buying any other brand of boot then Asolo!
