5.0 out of 5 stars. TentVerified Buyer Reviewed by PalomarHikerGal from California on Wednesday, June 1, 2016I love this tent !! Perfect size with plenty of room for my Dog, gear and I. Easy straight forward set up and the rain fly makes extra room for packs and gear. The rain fly has two little vents with clever little poles the size of a drinking straw sewn into the fabric with velcro to prop the vents open
This tent was easy for me to set up all by myself. I did not need any extra hands or help. I did two practice set up runs and had it up under 10 minutes.
I love the mesh top so I can see the stars. I would buy this tent again and highly recommend it!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Roomy tent for two. First experiences very positive.Reviewed by Seattle Guy from Seattle, WA on Sunday, May 22, 2016I had my doubts about this tent. Other ALPS Mountaineering tents were reviewed as being leaky - which makes me nervous here in the soggy Pacific Northwest. However, my first five-day experience with this tent was very positive. It withstood persistent, heavy rain and strong winds (35 MPH) very well - with absolutely no leaks. Having previously had a conventional dome tent, I loved the two vestibules this tent provides - they remained dry underneath and were convenient to store stuff I wanted access to but didn't want cluttering the tent's interior. Initial setup was a tad confusing, it was hard to figure out which entrance was the front and which was the back (it matters once you try to put the rain fly on). However, once I had figured it out, the setup was a breeze. It's advertised as a three-man tent but that would be pretty cramped - it's roomy for two and palatial for one. Why only four stars? Well, it's very early days yet. The tent material is thin and the floor looks delicate. I would love to re-review after a year's worth of use but STP probably won't be carrying it by then!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Solid!Reviewed by ipartner48 from Alberta on Sunday, May 15, 2016Not really a fan of sleeves but this tent is an exception. Very roomy, almost vertical walls all around except for the doors which are vertical - lots of headroom. Huge, and I mean huge vestibule on the one side - alot of gear can be stored here. And the vents on the fly are a nice touch. Yes, it's heavy but you know that from the specs - with that in mind, i consider this tent as ideal for car camping yet still able to backpack. Nice.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Can't beat itVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rastus47 from Kentucky on Wednesday, April 27, 2016Second Alps tent. Aluminum poles are great, easy set up,with loads of head room. Can't beat price on quality tent that is so light. Excellent 3 season tent.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great value, easy set upVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiking Bill from SoCal on Tuesday, January 12, 2016Haven't taken it out camping yet, but set up and take down were a breeze in the living room. Appears to be of quality construction and materials, very spacious and very tall vertically, but not too tall… I look forward to taking it out this spring.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for car campingReviewed by Sara from Tahoe on Tuesday, August 25, 2015Also great for short hike-ins. Not easy to set up on your own but it is a three person tent, so you should have an extra set of hands.
I have used this tent three times. The first two times were backyard camping and the third on a beach. I did encounter some wind and the noise level was minimal, unlike my light weight tent.
It is spacious, but it seems more appropriate for two people and a dog, child, or more gear. I love the amount of mesh! It provides ample ventilation and on a clear night you can do some star gazing. I have yet to use it in the rain, but the bathtub construction seems pretty durable. I'm not a big fan of the color, but for car camping it will do (I would prefer something a little less bright as to blend in with the flora). All in all it seems like a pretty good tent to take on short travel journeys. Great value especially if you get it from Sierra. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice TenyVerified Buyer Reviewed by jimbo28 from ohio on Saturday, August 15, 2015This is a very nice tent dollar/ sq. foot.
It is very roomy because of unique design.
Only complaint is that the rain fly is huge and hard to put on, so you have a very big wet tarp in the AM -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Well builtVerified Buyer Reviewed by HipHip from Michigan on Wednesday, July 1, 2015We have not had an opportunity to use the tent yet but set it up in our yard. It appears well built and it was easy to set up.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Summer tentVerified Buyer Reviewed by NOLA Jeff from New Orleans on Monday, June 29, 2015A great summer tent at a great price delivered quickly. The aluminum poles are color coded, so you can't mess them up, but the fly isn't as straight forward.
