How do you know how dependable they are unless you wear them? Three times is not a lot....

I was concerned that these are mid-weight, which can mean pretty much anything. Turns out the socks are well cushioned, as thick as other "heavy" socks, and they look even better than the photo. They are a trifle larger than I'm used to, but I suspect that will get corrected in the wash. Nice socks!
