It it too thin to provide any substantial warmth. I like that it has a large percentage of cotton, but it does seem like a loose weave that may get pulls easily. The color gradation adds a nice touch, and on my son's head, anyway, there is substantial "slouch." At the STP 45% off the current price, it was a reasonable value.

My criticism is that I thought it would be more slouchy and have a thicker weave. It is quite thin. I think the hat is OK but just a little disappointing.
