5.0 out of 5 stars. Buy, Buy, BuyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arkansas on Wednesday, August 26, 2015This is my second pair of Hoka One One. All the nice things have been said, and they are true. If you have never worn Hoka, and you can get them at a good price at STP, buy them. Like all running shoes, they run a little small, so heed the warning to buy a half size larger. I wear 11.5 in Asics and Brooks and sure enough Hoka 11.5 was just right also.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Stiff comfortable running shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Yamaholic from Scottsdale on Tuesday, August 18, 2015I have many other Hoka One One shoes and this model is different. They are a much stiffer shoe without such a spongy feel. They just have a different feel than the other Hoka One One's. This shoe is a great long distance trainer for me - 5 to 7 miles a day.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best on the marketVerified Buyer Reviewed by John's Feet from Michigan on Wednesday, June 24, 2015Had problems with my feet until I switched to Hoka running shoes. They have great cushion and support. Very well made. Provide both speed laces and tie laces. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars. So far the shoes are great.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mike from Florida on Saturday, June 6, 2015I had to give up short distance running about 20 years ago because my knees could not take it. Sore knees have plagued me as I age. These shoes are the first pair of shoes that my knees did not hurt after short runs with my dog, perhaps I'll even try longer runs.
I found the Hoka Conquest to be extremely comfortable and would recommend them to anyone who needs a comfortable shoe that very effectively dampens jarring.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best in classVerified Buyer Reviewed by John's Feet from Michigan on Monday, June 1, 2015Hoka shoes are the best out there. Great support and outstanding support. No more problems with sore feet. Highly recommend. My son is a marathon runner and suggest I get a pair. I now own three pairs and love them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Learning to run again!Reviewed by RuralRunner from Iowa on Monday, May 11, 2015After knee surgery 6 months ago, I didn't think recovery would be so difficult. Nearing 50, my knees and feet are not what they used to be. I have been a Kayano guy the last seven years, switching between that model and Brooks Trance for marathon training. My latest Kayano's have under 50 miles on them and I have been unable to run more than a mile or two at a time before my knee would start acting up. The first time out with the Hoka Conquest, the only thing holding me back was a lack of endurance, my knee was fine. Even during recovery that day, my knee did not hurt as it has in the past. I'm hoping this will continue and that it's not just a mind over matter thing. My wife and daughter thought the shoe looked a little orthopedic, but if they continue to perform, looks just don't seem to matter. Other reviews have talked about the narrow toe box. To me, they size up and fit completely comparable to the Kayano's. I'm a pounder, at 6'2 and a hefty 200 lbs. I'm trying to run softer, hopefully these will allow me to do so without the constant pain. If you're needing extra cushion and support, or recovering from an injury, these may fit the bill for you as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The best maximilist running shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by JMR from California on Friday, April 10, 2015I have many pairs of maximalist running shoes and none can compare to the Hoka One One Conquest. When I received them I put them on and I was shocked how they felt. They are simply Amazing!!! I ran over 25 miles in them and these are the first pair of shoes I have worn that do leave my knees aching. I have used Asics top end running shoes like the kayano, GT series, and nimbus; they do not compare to how nice these shoes fell on your feet and the impact it does not put on your knees. I have also wore mizunos wave enigma, mizuno prophecy, and brooks transcends; they as well do not compare to how well these shoes feel. After wearing them I will not go back to wearing the previous shoes I have worn!!! I have finally found the shoe for long distance running and will no longer have to jump from brand to brand. If your looking for a maximalist shoe, look no further, don't even think about it, just buy these, you will be satisfied with your purchase!
