They have moderate compression on the ankle. Some loose threads on inside, but these do not hinder comfort. Based on previous purchases of Wigwam products, I expect them to give years of use. And they are made in the USA!

They are fitted and have been excellent for some longer hikes and I wear them at the gym. My feet seem to stay dry, no blisters.
