This hat should be sized as medium to large. There is no elastic, no adjustment. It does not fit a 7 5/8 or larger. I should have known better as I have never found a "one size" that fits my head.
Overall it is a nice hat. It is insulated so it would probably be too warm for any summer wear. I'm not sure what the lining is, but it's quilted and on the thick side. I passed it on the my nephew.
