3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice just not blown awayVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tasha from Michigan on Wednesday, February 10, 2016So the missing palm was a idea I though would be nice less bunching when gripping rod and it is but very little as the seam doubled up add almost same bulk when gripping rod. Hands did stay warm and they where very comfortable. Price Def makesame it a good purchase. Normally I wear med gloves I bought the s/m they are a touch sloppy.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Fit greatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kevin from New Mexico on Sunday, August 2, 2015I've been looking for half finger gloves on a good sale for awhile and finally bought these. Haven't had a need for them on the water yet, but the fit is great. I'll update when they get a field test

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good addtion to the vestVerified Buyer Reviewed by Doug from Western PA on Wednesday, December 24, 2014I should have had these earlier in the year for the beginning of trout season when it was snowing first week. I had a chance to try them out last week on the steel head streams in Erie, PA with the temps in the mid to upper 30s. I got the L/XL and on my oversized paw, the fit was nice and snug but not constricting. No trouble tying knots. Still maintained good rod feel. I'm not sure the palm cut out is necessary; on a really cold day believe I'd prefer to have hand more covered. Not sure they would be the ticket for serious ice fishing unless covered with a heavy mitt. If your hands are going to be in and out of cold water a lot, I would suggest wearing those thin nitrile gloves they sell in the home centers under these. Keep your hands dry and these might add enough cover to retain heat. Haven't tried out idea yet. Now, if those darned steel head had just cooperated last week!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great gloves with a surpriseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kyle the Fisherman from Ohio on Thursday, December 18, 2014I love the gloves for fishing. They allow the feel of the fingertips but keep my hands warm while fishing winter steelhead. The only complaint I have is the rather large hole in the palms that is not shown in the picture. It is not a huge deal but is annoying at times. I just put a hand warmer in there and it worked fine.
