My first pair of this type of closed back clogs. I went to an actual shoe store & finally figured out I am a size 42 (!) in this brand (41's work perfectly for me with Birkenstocks). Then I took a chance and ordered these in the bright white silver color. Yes, they are BRIGHT, but pretty cute and fun. And you just can't beat Sierra Trading Post's prices. And they look very well made -- like they will last forever. I almost want to get the black/silver ones too, but how many floral metallic clogs does one person REALLY need, after all?

I have had at least 15 pairs of Sanita shoes over the years and there was clearly something wrong with this pair. As another reviewer said, there was such little room between the footbed and the top of the shoe that there was no way to get them on. I had another woman try them on and she said the same thing. I really feel like they were defective. I suppose it could have been just this pair, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of trying another pair. Really bummed because they were very pretty.

I have several pair of Sanita clogs that I wear almost exclusively. These were the same size I always buy, but they are too small. You may want to order one size up.

About Sanita

By their ultra-stylish looks, you'd never know Sanita clogs and comfort shoes carried the Seal of Acceptance of the American Podiatric Medical Association. The Sanita company began hand-crafting clogs in Denmark in 1907, where their unique style (inspired by the shoe's quaint wooden predecessor) had become the footwear of choice among Scandanavians. Originally designed for people who work on their feet, Sanita clogs and shoes are now worn by everyone from doctors and nurses to mechanics and kitchen staff (even Emeril endorses a chef clog collection). Made from the highest quality materials, Sanita specializes in orthopaedically correct fit, moisture-absorbing linings and shock-absorbing polyurethane soles to cushion impact from the hard ground.
