Although the fabric is technically flannel, and has that softness of flannel, it is lightweight enough to wear year-round. Also, the print is subdued and classy. Finally, sleeve length is critical to me, and the 3XLT was perfect for my 38" arms. Great buy.

Flannel is definitely lightweight as they say - not like a traditional heavy/warm flannel shirt; but will make it pretty versatile especially in spring/fall. Overall would definitely buy this again (and may get a second in another color)
