4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and windproof, but low-quality zippersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Callie from WI on Wednesday, November 18, 2015The jacket is wind-proof and very warm. Kept me comfortable in the 40s and 50s with a light long-sleeve layer underneath. It's not very comfortable when layering with short-sleeves because it's not very breathable, and the reflective material sticks to my skin when I sweat. So I would only wear long-sleeve shirts under it. That said, it's much warmer in the windy days than my other fall jackets which are not wind-proof, so I'm still happy with it.
It's a somewhat slim cut, but still roomy enough to allow layering. Size is consistent with the other Columbia jackets I've tried -- no need to size up unless you want to stuff a ton of layers underneath.
The zippers are low quality, and can be hard to use, so one star off.
Pros:
Lightweight and low-bulk
Windproof (yes!)
Warm
Cons:
Not very breathable and can be hot indoor
Low-quality zippers -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice JacketReviewed by Anonymous from MA on Thursday, October 8, 2015I got the jacket in black, it looks nice but it is a bit stiffer than I thought it would be. I thought being a fleece it would be softer. I do like it and will be keeping it. It is nice and toasty on those chilly fall days.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Omni-Heat will keep you warm...Reviewed by CAhiker from California on Monday, May 18, 2015cold or make you HOT! Just depends on what you are wearing under. I could have probably gone up a size for layering sake, but the overall fit is nice. It is flattering. The zipper does seem to have a problem starting, but I have had no issue with it other than that. I like the jacket enough to keep it. The fleece is different than the regular fleece zip ups by Columbia. It is smooth on the inside and low pile. I like it enough to keep it and it has done it's job keeping me warm for the most part. The only time I had a problem with warmth was when I had a thin silk blouse under it and I was in San Francisco. It could have just been the combination since I tend to stay very warm otherwise.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Definitely blocks the wind. Super warm!Reviewed by LH from Indiana on Friday, April 17, 2015This jacket is GREAT for cold weather. I got it in black. I wore it for a quick motorcycle trip to the store and I did not feel the wind at all. It does have less "give" than a typical fleece. I like that it has a bit of structure. It's not fuzzy type of fleece.
I've worn it out of the gym on cold days--it most definitely keeps heat in too. Overall, an excellent purchase since it came with the original price on the tag. Very pleased with this jacket! -
1.0 out of 5 stars. Just poor qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Boot Up chick from MN on Thursday, March 12, 2015The zipper had several problems. Very difficult to start, and would not zip further up once it hit the seam at the collar line. The other poor quality was the fabric. This is suppose to be fleece, but the material was. let's compare it to one of those blow up camping air materesses with the fuzzy velor type side. The fabric was very stiff and the fuzzy was no way considered a fleece. I expect it would wear off in spoits on the first couple of uses were is brushes against something else. Disappointed big time and returned with no hesitation.

5.0 out of 5 stars. LOVEVerified Buyer Reviewed by maninmichigan from Michigan on Thursday, January 29, 2015I love anything Omni-heat. This coat is light weight yet warm. Perfect for chilly days. The Red Hibiscus is a little more salmon color, but still pretty. Sizing is pretty true.
