I wore it to an event with a sparkly belt and heels, and it looked classy. I will also dress it down with ballet flats. The fabric is a very nice weight: not too warm, but covers the little bulges. I ordered a small (5'4", 135 pounds) it was slightly more form fitting than the picture. My only complaint is that it does not work the best for petites. I am on the tall side of petite, but it was still a bit too low in the underarms, showing my slip underneath. Other than that, it is a beautiful dress.

The armholes resembled huge gaping cap sleeves on me, while the skirt part was tight. Wanted to wear this as a layer with leggings for colder weather, but the skirt is much too narrow. Am disappointed, as I love SmartWool products.
