Not a bad little knife for the money
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Decent little pocket knife

The blade seems sturdy enough. It doesn't lock so if you need a locking blade this isn't the knife for you. The spring mechanism (or whatever it is) that keeps the blade open seems pretty secure so I'm not worried about the blade closing or flopping around while I'm using it. The bone (not sure if it is real or not) handle adds a nice feel and look. Haven't used it much so not sure how it will hold an edge.

Looking the folding knife over I see a well make knife. The fit and finish of the blade joint , the grind of the blade, the bone handle, the way the spring lays in the handle are all very good. Great knife for the price.

    Thank You, John

About Puma Knife Company

Johann Wilhelm Lauterjung started forging Puma knives in 1769 just outside Solingen, a city in western Germany that has been a hub of fine German blacksmithing and knife-making for more than 1000 years. Based in Lenexa, Kansas, Puma Knife Company USA has been the North American distributor of Puma knives since 2009. After nearly two and a half centuries, Puma knife blades are still forged in Germany using only the highest-quality steel. In addition, every Puma knife blade is tested by a Rockwell hardness tester before being shipped to the manufacturer to ensure a superior product.
