5.0 out of 5 stars. A must if you're a winter fly fishermanVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lyle from Bozeman, Montana on Sunday, January 25, 2015Prior to these gloves, I had your standard fleece fingered gloves. Never again. They became soaked if it snowed, would always catch the hook, and had to be removed when landing fish/ tying on a new fly. These I keep folded back when fishing, keeps my hands warm. I leave them on when catch and release fish, let them get wet, doesn't affect how warm them keep me. Like I said, a MUST if you fish in the winter time.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Gift for Fishing BuddyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Poudre Mike from Colorado on Wednesday, December 31, 2014Thanks to Sierra Trading Post I was able to give these as a gift for Christmas at 50% off retail. He was thrilled and I saved a ton. I have been wearing my own pair for three years and they are tough and reasonably warm for a glove/mitt that you can actually use to fish, now if I could just keep my flyrod from icing up!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great glovesVerified Buyer Reviewed by TJ from New York on Tuesday, December 2, 2014I wore these gloves for 12 hours in 24 F degree weather with wind and snow and while in the "mitten" configuration my hands stayed nice and warm. It is nice not to have to remove your gloves to tie knots or handle small items. I ordered the XL as my hand is just on the upper edge of the L arge fitment guide and they fit very well. The cut off for the fingers hit me right at the knuckles where they should however the gloves are not tight just feel comfortable with not a lot of extra material if that makes sense. I have a pair of fold over gloves that hold the hand warmer near the fingers instead of these that the hand warmer is placed on the inside of your wrist. I am not really sure which keeps the fingers warmer as the other pair is not fingerless. I would recommend these to a friend.
