The easy snap on collar is great and it's very smooth (no weird angles digging into my dogs neck). The collar itself is very lightweight, so I use it mostly just to go out on trips but I would probably put my dog in a heavier/rubber collar for hiking/outdoor activity etc as I don't think this one would be easy to clean with all the stitching. It's a beautiful collar tho that got a compliment the first time she wore it!
