5.0 out of 5 stars. 1 Year Later Review! Still awesome!Reviewed by Trillium2014 from Pennsylvania on Friday, December 2, 2016Ok, I reviewed these when I first got them (Oct 2015) and again a month later, after I'd sized up. One year later I am here to say I WISH I COULD BUY ANOTHER PAIR! I have loved these shoes to death... literally wearing them every day thru last fall, winter, spring and this fall 2016. The inside lining at the heel has torn from wear and the exterior leather looks well-used, but otherwise, these are still going strong. Even the tread still looks good, and I'm hard on tread. I mostly use these for everyday wear, walking and occasional light hiking. They are too thin-soled for heavy hiking with a pack, or on very rocky terrain. The best aspect is the arch support for very high arches. Truly an excellent pair of shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love them!Verified Buyer Reviewed by MP Chicago from Chicago on Monday, January 25, 2016The quality of this shoe is fabulous, and they have great arch support. I usually wear size 8 dress shoes, so I ordered 8.5, and it fits great. Super comfy, no need to break in. Love them!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love my first pair of ChacosReviewed by KM from New York on Sunday, January 24, 2016I'm usually a size 8 but ordered 8.5. These shoes hug the sides of my foot perfectly, with enough room in the toe box to wear thicker socks if I want. I expect to get a lot of life out of these on the trails.

5.0 out of 5 stars. greatReviewed by MKL from Snohomish WA on Saturday, November 14, 2015Sizing: If you're between, size up one half size.
Support: Very good, insole a bit hard could have more cushioning. Comfortable rocker motion when walking.
Waterproof: No, but very water resistant.
I have just recently discovered Chaco. I like them!
Note: I purchased a waterproof pair of Chaco's on this website. They were very bulky and stiff. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Can't go wrong with Chaco'sVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Bangkok on Tuesday, November 3, 2015Only really tried them on at home and out for short walks. Haven't tested in the rain or on trail yet. Fit seems a little snug at the toes, so you may want to go a half size bigger if you want to wear thinker socks. Looking forward to taking these babies out though!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Too narrow, size up!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Trillium2014 from Pennsylvania on Friday, October 23, 2015Taking the advice of others, I bought a 1/2 size up from my normal. These shoes are very narrow in the forefoot. I have a narrow heel while my forefoot is somewhat normal-to-wide. Toe-squish! However, I like how they fit and feel otherwise, so I am exchanging for the next 1/2 size up. They are a bit stiff, but in a good way that rocks your foot forward and provides great stability and traction. I will revise my review when I get the larger ones. Hopefully they won't be too large all around, or the toe box won't still be too narrow. I also noted that as our fall weather turns colder, that these have no insulation, so again...size up just for the room you'll need for good warm socks in cold weather and for foot-swell in warm weather!
