This is a nice heavy weight vest with a slightly longer tail to cover any plumber cracks. The problem is the front is too short and barely covers my belly button. It will have to go back. Someone shorter than 5'6" with with 42-44 chest might like this vest.

It is a bit bigger and shorter than expected, normally that is not a big deal, But since canvas is a stiff material which make the front stick out, creating a hollow space between your belly and the vest. Unless you are already padded up, you will get a lot of draft to your belly. Unless you built like Danny Devito, it is not flattering nor functional. Return!!!

The large was the right length but you would need a massive pot belly for it to fit like a vest should. Exchanged for a medium and it fits perfect.
