However, I can't keep them on my feet because the heel is so loose. I have never had that problem in a boot. I am debating adding an insole or some type of heel insert. If you are between sizes then do size down but just know they are a very loose fit on the heel and the top of the boot is very loose and slouchy so don't count on that to hold them on.

When I opened the Beautiful box from the Vintage Shoe Company, Made IN The USA and saw my suede quality made boots I almost cried . Put them on took them for a walk , felt like I had been wearing them for years. American craftsmanship on my feet ! No more buying foreign made boots that biodegrade in the elements the first winter I use them . On a small budget this was like finding the motherload mine .

Excellent boots for a wide foot! and Made in the USA!Reviewed by sophia from chicago on Tuesday, March 24, 2015I have tried Frye, Redwing and other boot brands and these are by far the most comfortable for a wide foot. They are a little loose in the heel but I would rather have that than lose circulation in my entire foot. Very comfortable for clunking around in but, as with most engineer type boots, the soles are not flexible so don't expect to run in them. I can wear these all day and hardly notice they are there. Nice, solid neoprene sole wears well. I would definitely buy again and may buy another backup pair.

They fit perfect, are true to size, and are comfortable. They are real leather giving them a true vintage look. The toe is not too wide making them look and feel more feminine than some of the other boots I have. Now if I can just get them back from my daughter!
