4.0 out of 5 stars. Tent actually seemed larger than it is!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Danny Dog owner from Colorado on Wednesday, April 15, 2015LOVED all the headroom in this tent. Choose to keep a different tent because 1) hadn't heard of Vaude before, and 2) the other tent we choose (Marmot Odyssey) set up easier. This tent wasn't hard to set up, it's just that the Marmot was so much easier. If you're looking for headroom, the ability to stand up in the tent, than this might be the one for you. I'm 5'9" and there was plenty of headroom above me. I was concerned about the vents, in a driving rain, I don't think these would keep the rain out. Also, the walls were mainly solid material, not mesh. That will make the tent warmer, but could cause more condensation issues than a mesh wall tent. These concerns are conjecture based on 40+ years of camping and setting the tent up several times in the back yard.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Seems solid but zero view and likely stuffyVerified Buyer Reviewed by JillK from DC on Monday, April 6, 2015This looks like a solid tent, but the photos did not tell me nearly enough about its construction under the fly so I bought it to find out. It turns out to have mesh only on the top 1/4-1/3 of each of two doors. That might be great in the rain, but I wanted more of a view from inside... I want to be protected from insects but still have some sort of view, both laterally and up to the stars. Sitting or lying in the tent, it is impossible to have a view of any kind. I was hoping the doors would be full mesh with zip-over covers for a wider range of conditions, but no such luck. The last time I bought a tent (North Face Big Frog), that was pretty common. I think this could be terribly stuffy in summer even with the fly left open. It may be that I wait for another design year to find what I want. If anyone knows of a custom tent builder, I know what I want and would appreciate finding a maker.
