4.0 out of 5 stars. wanted it to work but......Verified Buyer Reviewed by never2old from northern Colorado on Monday, June 29, 2015I purchased this pack for my world traveling son. Even though the padding on hips was phenomenal, material felt durable, great access to inside and plenty of pockets; we felt all the buckles except for the hip belt and sternum strap, were to weak to endure all the harshness from traveling the globe, so we decided to return it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Just awesome !Reviewed by Anonymous from B.C. Canada on Friday, June 19, 2015Vaude is not as well known in North America as some of the other brands, but this German company makes high quality packs and tents. I went with the green, and it looks great and holds a ton . Built in rain cover is a huge bonus for hiking. With mist other packs you have to buy a $30 ish rain cover separate .
