4.0 out of 5 stars. Great for the price!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Friday, April 3, 2015Excellent carry. I especially loved how all the straps are really well thought out. The lid is floating and has a HUGE capacity. The rope holder strap is a nice touch. The hip belt allows putting a camera case on. The side compression straps are large enough for skis, snowshoes, sleeping pads. While I was initially skeptical about the ice tool attachments, the hook system works really well, and allows you to remove the tool without taking the pack off. The separate sleeping bag compartment is great, and even better, for day trips the partition unzips so that everything goes at the bottom. The two side zips, one to reach the main compartment, and one for the 'map pocket' (I keep my snacks there) are useful.
I wish it had a) Picket pocket b) Crampon pocket. I was able to fashion a crampon attachment by threading bungee cord through the various ice tool straps. Durability seems to be good. I've used it on one trip with a fair amount of scrambling on granite and having the crampons attached to the back and it doesn't have any noticeable wear or even dirt.
